Family-run Business

Ansell Land Services was launched in March 2008 to support local farms, estates, private customers, sports clubs, and District and Parish Councils. The company originally traded under the name of Ansell Landcare Services and was a sole trader business. We incorporated in April 2016 and started to trade under the name of Ansell Land Services Ltd.


We are a permanent team with a pool of experienced and reliable self-employed tradesman, we are able to offer a wide range of services. With 14 years of agricultural experience including 6 years as a Farm Manager, we have tried to develop our services and skills using small compact farm machinery to meet the needs of our customers.


Our workshop is based in Overton, Hampshire but we cover both Hampshire and Berkshire and are happy to travel into Wiltshire and Surrey. The compact machinery we use to complete our contracts has low ground pressure which minimises damage to soil structure and allows us to work on wetlands to fence areas which are inaccessible to other styles of machinery. We have a tracked post driver, a tractor mounted post driver, a 1.8 tonnes digger and a Bobcat T450, with root grapple and forestry flail - all transported to site using a trailer. All other machinery is transported on trailers to site and removed when the job is completed.



We are a family run business and take immense pride in the standard of our work, providing individual and personalised, tailor made quotations and do our level best to keep our prices competitive and meet the need of our customers.


Use materials – sweet chestnut, treated redwood, creosoted redwood, and locally sourced oak mainly for gate posts. We source all our materials from local suppliers and sawmills.
